LNVH Spring Symposium 2022

After two years of online events, we are looking forward to coming together at Paushuize in Utrecht for a program full of interesting and inspiring speakers and guests, as well as workshops focused on personal and professional development and organizational change.
The event will take place between 9h30 and 18h00 CET with:
- interactive paneldiscussions on social safety and recognition & rewards
- workshops on professional & personal development and organizational change
- interesting speakers from within and beyond your networks
- the award ceremony of the LNVH DWSFund laureates of 2021/2022
- networking opportunities

Social safety, the next steps towards an inclusive and safe academic culture.
An introduction based on the - soon to be published - KNAW-committee advice on the prevention of inappropriate behavior in academia. How can the structural and cultural factors leading to inappropriate behavior be overcome?
Followed by an interactive panel discussion with Mariëtte Hamer (t.b.c), government commissioner of sexual transgressive behavior and sexual violence, Sandra Groeneveld, professor in Public Management of the Institute of Public Administration, Leiden University and LNVH board member and Meaghan Polack, board member of the PhD Network Netherlands (Promovendi Netwerk Nederland, PNN)

Recognition & Rewards, what’s in it for gender equality?
An introduction by Kim Huijpen, programme manager for the national programme on recognition and rewards of academics (Universities of the Netherlands | UNL), followed by an interactive panel discussion with Tanya Bondarouk, professor of Human Resource Management, chair of the department HRM at the University of Twente and LNVH board member, Sarah de Rijcke, professor in Science, Technology, and Innovation Studies & Scientific Director at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University and Malika Ouacha, board member of the PhD Network Netherlands (Promovendi Netwerk Nederland, PNN).
