Title lecture: From Boomer to Zoomer: collaborating effectively with all generations

Abstract

Healthcare is a profession that involves people and collaboration. But what if you find that you communicate and approach your job differently than your colleagues from another generation? That you perceive your role differently than your younger colleagues? Or that you have a different view of a healthy work-life balance than your supervisor? Generational differences can be a source of friction, but with the right insights and tools, they can become a strength within a team.

In this keynote, we will go into what a generation is, what the differences and similarities between generations are and how to leverage different approaches when it comes to mindset, communication, and work style. You will discover how to build bridges between generations so that you and your colleagues can strengthen each other rather than lose out on each other's valuable contributions.
